Indestructible Blood is a dynamic and powerful American heavy rock worship band hailing from the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area music scene. Founded in 2017, by the talented husband and wife duo of Mattx and Janet Bergren, who share a deep passion for music and ministry, the band has quickly made a name for itself. In 2018, Terry Morton, joined Indestructible Blood that took their music to the next level by recording their highly anticipated debut album, "Who You Are," at the legendary Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA. The Band draws inspiration from a diverse array of iconic rock and metal acts, weaving together the raw power of Guns N' Roses, the punk energy of The Offspring, the soaring melodies of Alter Bridge and the uplifting spirit of Hillsong United Live. Hints of Judas Priest's classic metal, Almost Monday's modern indie vibes, Death Angel's thrash intensity, Soundgarden's brooding grunge, Halestorm's fierce hard rock and the old-school Bay Area thrash of Exodus further shape their multifaceted sound. Megadeth's technical prowess and Metallica's undeniable heavy metal mastery round out the key influences that have molded The Band's unique musical identity. Janet, a talented singer-songwriter and guitarist, has found solace amidst the chaos and tumult of the world through worship music. As a self-proclaimed "metal head," she felt compelled to create a unique sound that seamlessly blends the intensity and power of heavy metal with the uplifting and spirit-filled essence of worship music. With her soulful lead vocals and skillful acoustic rhythm guitar playing, Janet has graced the stages of numerous churches throughout California, including notable venues such as The Vineyard and The Rock, a prominent mega church in San Diego. Her musical contributions extend beyond live performances, as she has lent her voice to several worship CD's and even made a memorable guest appearance at the esteemed Spirit West Coast Music Festival. Eager to share her passion with a wider audience, Janet has poured her heart and soul into her solo CD, simply titled "JANET," which will soon be available on all platforms through OMEGATÖNN Records.
Joining forces with Janet is Mattx Berggren, an American guitarist/singer from the San Francisco East Bay Area. a seasoned songwriting and touring musician who brings his exceptional lead guitar skills and vocal prowess to the table. Mattx is the frontman, lead guitarist, singer and songwriter for the American Punk Metal band, LETHÅL GØSPEL, Mattx has an impressive track record, with five records under his belt and extensive tours spanning the United States and Europe. Mattx also continues to work with his O.G. Power trio Punk Band ALGO, on lead guitar and vocals.
Forming LETHÅL GØSPEL in 1983 after playing in Punk bands in San Francisco for a few years- Supporting IGGY POP, playing The Mabuhay Gardens, the Stone, and others, & rehearsing at The Vats. LETHÅL GØSPEL released 3 albums, an EP, and a single, toured Europe and the USA extensively into the 1990’s. Joining forces with Janet Schottelkorb in 2015, he helped form INDESTRUCTIBLE BLOOD. Playing several acoustic duo performances with Janet, in the Bay Area, while working on new material. Their first album, Who You Are, was recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA.
